If you understand the detail behind Motor Trade insurance and take pride in looking after clients properly, this role will resonate.

This is an opportunity to inherit manage a portfolio of Specialist Motor Trade clients within an established, well-backed insurance broker.

You will take ownership of a book of Motor Trade insurance clients, ensuring their cover remains fit for purpose, compliant and commercially sound. This is not transactional processing, it is about understanding how each client operates and advising accordingly.

What you will be doing:

• Manage the existing client book c.£250k GWP, with growth in mind

• Supporting colleagues with broking strategy and client reporting

• Identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within the existing insurance portfolio

• Contributing to team income and retention targets

You will be dealing with Motor Trade Combined and related insurance policies, so a working understanding of Motor Trade insurance is important.

What we are looking for:

• Background in commercial or Motor Trade insurance

• Strong organisational and documentation standards

• Calm, empathetic communication style

• Proactive approach to managing and retaining clients
