HubSpot is an AI powered customer platform that helps marketing, sales and service teams grow by focusing on what matters most: customers. The Mid Market Account Executive will leverage both inbound and outbound selling strategies to identify and close new business opportunities in the Sub Saharan African territory, enhancing client operations and growth using HubSpot software.
Responsibilities- Use outbound sales methodologies-prospecting, cold calling, and networking-to build a robust pipeline.
- Employ inbound selling strategies to maximise inbound leads, collaborating with Business Development Representatives.
- Deliver compelling online demos of HubSpot software and communicate the platform's value proposition.
- Drive the entire sales process from initial contact to closing, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.
- Target and engage primarily with small and mid sized businesses, positioning HubSpot solutions for maximum impact.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the HubSpot CRM system.
- Identify challenges of prospective customers and propose the best inbound marketing solutions.
- Consistently close new business at or above quota level.
- Nurture relationships with highly qualified opportunities at mid sized companies.
- Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business.
- Work collaboratively with HubSpot's marketing and technology departments to evolve the sales strategy when new features and products are introduced.
- Help shape the future of HubSpot's mission with your perspectives, ideas, and skills.
- 3-4 years of closing sales experience.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional African language is a plus.
- Experience selling to this territory.
- Unmatched consultative selling and closing skills.
- Accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
- Track record of being a high performer (e.g., over quota, President's Club).
- A sharp focus on your goals and a strong approach for achieving them.
- Strong communication, time management and adaptability to thrive remotely.
- Experience working in a high growth, scale up environment.
