So, what's the job?As an Account Director, you will lead and direct a portion of the business, developing and implementing innovative programmes for cutting edge medicines. You will be the strategic contact for your client, overseeing the implementation of a range of campaigns - from project proposal to completion - including patient content, advertorials, media materials, reactive statements, and Q&As. You will manage client teams and develop plans for client work, helping to communicate priorities and decisions to senior stakeholders. Your ability to run and participate in creative sessions will be key to maintaining our high quality work and fostering strong team relationships.
Commercial and financial management is also a core responsibility. You will be accountable for the financial performance of your areas of business, delivering operational efficiency and forward planning. You will also play an active role in business development, leading the creation of pitch documents and participating in new business efforts.

- Have a proven track record in strategic planning and implementing projects and campaigns that achieve exceptional client outcomes in healthcare communications
- Bring strong commercial acumen, including experience in managing budgets, fee forecasting, and ensuring operational efficiency
- Have experience coaching team members and line managing junior staff, fostering an inclusive and supportive culture
- Enjoy working collaboratively, contributing ideas and solutions in a team environment
- Confident in developing proposals and leading new business pitches, with a track record of growing client accounts
- Demonstrate excellent strategic counsel and communication skills, including the ability to produce high quality, complex proposals
- Understand compliance requirements and have experience using approval tools such as Zinc or PromoMats
- Highly organised, proactive, and enthusiastic about helping others succeed
- Open to working in an environment where curiosity and questions are encouraged
