Accommodation Supervisor

The Galway Bay Hotel are now recruiting anAccommodation Supervisor to join our great team.

Responsibilities:

• Allocating work duties & cleaning lists to Accommodation Assistants/ Porters on a daily basis.
• Carrying out routine inspections of all check out rooms and spot checks of all occupied rooms.
• Reporting and follow up on any maintenance defects or other issues.
• Oversees implementation of deep cleaning programs, maintenance reporting and follow-up.
• Conducting daily and weekly training to ensure compliance with standards.
• Ensuring all rooms & Front of House areas are maintained and cleaned to the highest standard at all times.
• Liaising & communicating with Front Office and Reservations teams regarding room status.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Previous experience in Housekeeping/Accommodation Supervisor's Role/ 2-3 years as a Senior Accommodation Assistant
• Excellent customer service & communication skills
• Be a good team leader
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good organisational & interpersonal skills with a flexible approach to work
• Fluency in both written and oral English
• Good IT skills
