About the Job

LSESU's Student Voice Team is looking for a highly organised student who is passionate about improving the experiences of LSE students. The Access and Widening Participation Administrative Assistant will support the delivery of Access and Participation Plan interventions and run key support services for marginalised groups of students, such as the Ethnic Minority Mentoring Scheme, and help facilitate LSESU's contribution to the LSE Navigate programme.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with Campaigns and Participation Team administration and project work
  • Plan and organise events and activities
  • Drafter, proofread and fact check internal documents
  • Provide administrative support for the Team, including typing up feedback forms and transcribing focus groups
  • Process payments for participation rewards and incentives such as gift vouchers
  • Administer the Ethnic Minority Mentoring Scheme inbox
Ideal Candidate
  • Friendly, helpful and engaging manner with good interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Interest in campaigns and supporting projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various social media platforms
  • Commitment to equality, diversity and the ability to handle politically sensitive situations
