What you would be doing

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Academic Tutoring Administrator to coordinate and support the Academic Tutoring programme across the School of Medicine.

Working closely with students, Academic Tutors, and senior academic leaders, you will oversee key operational activities including tutor recruitment and training, student allocation processes, group tutorial coordination, and programme administration across our Medicine and Medical Biosciences programmes.

What we are looking for

You will act as the first point of contact for Academic Tutoring enquiries, managing the shared mailbox and ensuring the accurate administration of student and tutor data. The role also provides an exciting opportunity to support a developing academic attainment project, coordinating targeted support initiatives designed to enhance student success and educational outcomes.

Based within the Faculty Education Office, you will work alongside a dedicated team supporting students from admission through to graduation, collaborating closely with the Heads and Deputy Heads of Academic Tutoring and Student Services colleagues to deliver an outstanding student experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled administrator who enjoys building relationships, managing complex processes, and contributing to innovative student support initiatives within a leading medical school.

What we can offer you

You must be educated to degree level or equivalent, and have a high level of computer literacy, including confidence in using Excel, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Whilst experience of working in higher education is welcome, we are more interested in your skills and attitudes.

Further information

This is a full time, open ended post and you will be largely based at the South Kensington campus in Southwest London, but with potential travel to other campuses.
