Academic Skills Tutor 2 (Redeployee Applicants Only)

Responsibilities

• Deliver, develop and evaluate a first-year academic transition programme for all undergraduate programmes.
• Provide in person and online tutorials, webinars and group sessions on the VLE.
• Develop academic skills resources for the VLE such as Moodle.
• Work with students and staff to develop academic skills through individual and group support.

Person Specification

• Educated to degree level and hold a postgraduate teaching qualification.
• At least 2 years' experience delivering academic skills support in an FE or HE environment, with essential experience delivering an academic transition programme.
• Experience delivering both in person and online content and support using an AV platform such as Teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
