Job Description
The Academic Assistant provides broad support to the academic campus. Working under the direct supervision of the Executive Academic Assistant, the role is the primary support point for Assistant Deans and Program Directors in their day-to-day academic delivery.The institution is a globally renowned institution shaping the future of hospitality and the experience economy, with experiential learning in 3 campuses: Crans-Montana (Switzerland), Marbella (Spain) and Abu Dhabi (UAE). We offer an inclusive and thriving environment.As an Academic Assistant, your main missions will be:- Classroom & Teaching support- Lecturer support to Assistant Deans and Program Directors- Academic & Content Maintenance- Student & Faculty Liaison- Academic Document & Schedule SupportDesired Personal Qualities- Highly organised, reliable, and detail-oriented.- Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.- Customer service oriented - courteous, responsive, and supportive toward faculty, students, and staff.- Comfortable in a fast-paced academic environment.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French.- A team player who works effectively with the Executive Academic Assistant and academic leadership.- Discrete and professional in handling confidential information.Requirements- Bachelor degree or equivalent in administration or a related field.- Years of experience in an administrative or assistant role, ideally in an academic setting.- Familiarity with academic platforms (Moodle, LMS systems) is highly desirable.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).- Experience coordinating logistics for events, speakers, or external stakeholders is an advantage. jid6fdf77faen jit0417aen jpiy26aen
