Job Description

An organised and fun Nanny is required for two boys aged 11 and 9 years near Wincanton.

The boys aged 11 and 9 years love animals and construction and enjoy playing tennis but are also very happy reading, coding and playing piano so anyone who shares these interests would be great. They live in a large home in the countryside so a country loving Nanny would be ideal and someone who does not mind pets as they have two dogs, gerbils and chickens. Your duties will be child related, such as, school runs, cooking tea, supporting any homework, bedtime and someone who is happy to walk the dogs would be ideal.

The ideal candidate will have a sense of humour, a positive attitude, happy to engage with the boys and have fun with them, taking them on day trips in the school holidays and providing age related activities. An organised person would be great so that the home runs smoothly, getting the boys school bags ready for the next day and generally happy to muck in!

Term time core hours: Monday 3.30-6.30pm, Tuesday - Thursday 6.30am-9am and 3.30-6.30pm with one day being a 10.30pm finish. Approx 24-25 hours (including dog walking)
School holidays: Monday: 10:30am until 5.30pm, Tuesday: 6/7am until 8/8:30pm, Wednesday and Thursday 10:30am until 6/6:30pm, Fridays 10:30am until 4pm.
They are happy to pay on the basis of 35 hours a week across the year.
There is also the option to work a 3 day week, Tuesday-Thursday, if this is more preferable.

This is a lovely position for a patient, fun and flexible Nanny who enjoys supporting a busy family where they will be respected and made to feel a part of the family.
