Dynamics 365 Consultant - Finance Systems

Location: Co. Down (with hybrid working - 1 day WFH)
Salary: Up to £55,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 per week, flexible core hours (10-4, Friday 10-3)

About the Company

We're partnered with a leading manufacturing organisation in Northern Ireland that is driving forward with ambitious digital transformation plans. As part of this, they are seeking a Dynamics 365 Consultant to join their IT & Business Systems team and take ownership of their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform.

The Role

This is a hands-on systems role focused on the finance side of Dynamics 365 Business Central (previously NAV). You'll play a key part in supporting and optimising financial processes, Accounts Payable automation, and M365 integrations, while also working closely with finance stakeholders to ensure the system delivers real value.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and enhancing Dynamics 365 Business Central (finance/AP side)

  • Liaising with the finance team on dimensions, reporting, and automation requirements

  • Acting as a point of contact for user support, escalating to 3rd line support where required

  • Contributing to ongoing implementation work and system optimisation

  • Supporting wider projects, including MRP replacement, HR systems, and automation initiatives

  • Helping streamline manual processes and drive efficiency through smart system use

What We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 3+ years' experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV)

  • Strong knowledge of the finance side of Business Central (AP, reconciliations, dimensions, reporting)

  • Experience working with M365 integrations

  • Exposure to AP automation tools (e.g. Continia Document Capture) - desirable but not essential

  • Background in ERP implementation or upgrade projects

  • The ability to work with both finance teams and technical partners to deliver improvements
