Job Description
From the Municipality, A lawyer at the Municipality, the Chancellery proposes and coordinates measures to promote and highlight the City, notably by providing the Municipality with decision-making assistance in legal and institutional matters, ensuring inter-departmental follow-up on issues submitted to the Municipality, and managing processes. The Chancellery is looking for a lawyer for the Legal Affairs sector, for a fixed term, at 80% from April 1 to December 31. Your missions and responsibilities: - Advise the Municipality and the services, particularly the Urban Planning Service, on legal issues; - Ensure the drafting activities and proofreading of agreements and documents binding the City to external entities, and draft decisions; - Develop and monitor certain decisions of municipal competence; - Validate the legal aspects of projects submitted to the Municipality; - Defend the interests of the City in the context of procedures. Profile: - Master's degree in Swiss law; - Additional diploma and/or experience in the field of spatial planning, particularly construction law; - Good knowledge of the functioning of public institutions; - Excellent writing skills in French, passive knowledge of German; - Good command of legal research tools; - Ability to work independently and as part of a team; - Analytical and synthesis skills; - Public service mindset, flexibility, and spirit of service.What we offer you: - A rich and varied position within a small team interacting daily with other services in the City; - The social framework of a large municipality.
