A high-quality, 200-year-old law firm in Otley is looking to add an 8+ PQE family solicitor with a clear succession plan for this person.
Role and responsibilitiesThe role initially involves working alongside the current Head of Department and Partner, who also serves as a Deputy District Judge. The successful candidate will assist in managing the team and supporting the Head of Department, as well as overseeing the two other solicitors in the practice.
Down the line, there is a strong possibility that this person can become the new Head of Family within the firm.
The caseload will be a mixture of private family, divorce, financial remedy, cohabitation agreements and children; the caseload comes from repeat business/legacy clients. There is no legal aid offered.
Whilst you will have been working as a qualified solicitor in family for over 8 years as it is, the learning potential in this role is huge, and is a great opportunity for someone to join a firm with a clear succession plan in place.
