8+ Private Family Solicitor - Succession Planning Role To HOD

Overview

A high-quality, 200-year-old law firm in Otley is looking to appoint an 8+ PQE family solicitor with a clear succession plan for this role.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the current Head of Department and Partner (also a Deputy District Judge) to manage the team and support her.
• Oversee the two other solicitors in the practice.
• Manage a caseload comprising private family, divorce, financial remedy, cohabitation agreements, and children matters. Caseload sourced from repeat/legacy clients; no legal aid offered.
• Contribute to business development and client service to sustain a strong succession plan to potentially become the new Head of Family.

Qualifications and Skills

• Qualified solicitor with 8+ years' experience in family law.
• Demonstrated leadership or potential to manage a team and take on a Head of Department role in the future.
