Job Description
Client: Hillington Council
Location: Civic Centre, High Street, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB8 1UW
PAYE Pay Rate: £28.33 per hour
Work Pattern: 36 per week (Mon-Fri) (9am till 5pm)
Main Purpose of the RoleTo lead and manage the Council's Anti-Social Behavior and enforcement services, ensuring residents are protected, complex cases are handled effectively, and services meet legal, regulatory and community safety requirements.
Typical Day Overview- Managing ASB and enforcement teams.
- Reviewing complex cases and agreeing appropriate actions.
- Working with Police, housing teams and partner agencies.
- Monitoring service performance and improving delivery.
- Supporting staff development and wellbeing.
- Providing advice to senior managers and elected members.
- Responding to urgent risks and community concerns.
- Lead and motivate ASB, enforcement and community safety staff.
- Manage complex ASB, safeguarding and enforcement cases.
- Ensure investigations are accurate, fair and legally compliant.
- Develop effective partnerships to reduce ASB and community harm.
- Monitor performance, budgets and service standards.
- Use data and intelligence to improve services.
- Provide professional advice to managers, partners and stakeholders.
- Lead service improvements and support change.
- Ensure good customer service and positive outcomes for residents.
- Experience managing ASB, enforcement, housing or community safety services.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of ASB legislation, safeguarding and enforcement processes.
- Ability to manage complex cases and make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and partnership-working skills.
- Experience working with data, performance reporting and service improvement.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
- Relevant investigation, enforcement or community safety experience.
- Management experience or leadership qualification.
- Full UK driving license.
- Ability to complete a Standard DBS check.
