3x Shift Engineers - Systems Integrator

Responsibilities

• Hands-on operation and maintenance of critical systems in a 24/7 environment.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical infrastructure (UPS, batteries, switchgear, LV/MV distribution).
• Carry out both preventative and reactive maintenance activities to ensure operational resilience.
• Respond to incidents quickly and independently, escalating when required.
• Support mechanical systems and building services (cooling, HVAC, BMS).
• Keep detailed logs, records, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programmes.
• Work as part of a four-person shift team under a site supervisor, covering 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm, with nights one in four).

Skills / Must have

• Electrical bias with relevant City & Guilds qualifications (installations acceptable).
• Minimum BSth Edition certification.
• Strong ability to work independently and with the right attitude to problem-solving.
• Experience working in critical environments (data centres, hospitals, airports, water treatment, etc.).
• Mechanical bias and/or experience with building services.
• Knowledge of BMS or network systems.
• Broad skill set across controls and critical facilities.

Salary

• Competitive, with overtime rates at 1.5x (Mon-Sat) and 2x (Sundays).
