3rd Line IT Support Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer

Kenneth Brian Associates are are recruiting for an experienced 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to join a Managed IT Services team based in Crawley. This is a senior technical role involving complex troubleshooting, infrastructure support and project delivery across a varied customer base.

Occasional travel to client sites may be required where necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues, taking ownership of incidents through to resolution.
• Provide 3rd line support across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft Intune.
• Maintain and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, including Hyper-V, networking, firewalls, VPNs, backup and disaster recovery.
• Deliver customer projects including cloud migrations, server upgrades, infrastructure improvements and security implementations.
• Support junior engineers, undertake root-cause analysis and identify opportunities to improve systems, security and service delivery.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience in a 3rd Line IT Support or Senior Infrastructure Engineer role, ideally within an MSP environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Azure, Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender, Hyper-V, backup solutions and disaster recovery.
• Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls and VPNs.
• Experience with PowerShell, technical project delivery and troubleshooting complex infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Must be a driver due to location
