2nd Line Support Engineer - Systems Integrator

Responsibilities:

• Act as a key escalation point for complex 1st Line issues, taking ownership of incidents through to resolution
• Provide hands-on support across servers, switches, firewalls, and other core infrastructure
• Work within defined SLAs and maintain high-quality ticket documentation
• Escalate issues to 3rd Line and Professional Services teams when necessary
• Contribute to internal documentation and support knowledge sharing within the team
• (Desirable) Assist in scripting or automation tasks using PowerShell

Desired Experience:

• Proven experience in a 2nd Line Support role within an MSP or similar fast-paced IT environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and exposure to Azure or AWS
• Confident working with hardware: servers, switches, and firewalls
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting (nice to have)
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Azure, AWS, or CCNA highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills

Location:

• Southampton (On-site 4 days a week)

Salary:

• £32,000 - £35,000
