Location: Glasgow (Maryhill & Govan)
Duration: 5 Months
Engagement: Ad Hoc Onsite Support (1-3 Days per Week)
We are seeking an experienced 2nd Line Onsite Support Engineer to provide ad hoc onsite support for a Glasgow-based client across two office locations in Maryhill and Govan. This engagement will run for an initial 5-month period, with support required for a minimum of 1 day per week and up to 3 days per week depending on business requirements.
The successful candidate will support day-to-day IT operations, assist with an office relocation project, and contribute to the setup and stabilisation of a new office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line support across hardware, software, and user access requests (JML processes)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to Microsoft 365, Office 365, Intune, and Azure AD/Entra ID
- Support an office move involving 100+ users, including device relocations, desk setups, and reconnects
- Assist with new building IT setup and post-move stabilisation activities
- Provide support for Microsoft Teams Rooms, meeting room technology, and AV equipment
- Support Intune-managed devices, including enrolment, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Deliver onsite floor-walking support and user assistance
- Work closely with the internal IT team to resolve escalated issues and provide hands-on support
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a 2nd Line Support, Desktop Support, or End User Computing role
- Strong Microsoft 365/Office 365 support experience
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune
- Knowledge of Azure AD/Entra ID and Active Directory
- Experience supporting Windows desktop environments and end-user devices
- Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms and AV technologies
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites

- Previous office relocation or IT migration experience
- Experience supporting multi-site environments
- Relevant Microsoft certifications
