Estates & Facilities Directorate

The Estates & Facilities Directorate proposes to implement a new in house team to prepare for delivery of the management of the existing Hard Facilities Management (FM) services at the RIE. This team will have oversight on all aspects of maintenance requirements including statutory and mandatory compliance. This will provide greater control and focus on operational oversight of the RIE and mitigate the risk of potential disruption during the transition period.

CAFM (Computer Assisted Facilities Management) Manager

The CAFM Manager will manage the NHS Lothian Property Portfolio by best practice, developing and maintaining relationships with all key internal estates staff and external contractors to ensure that NHS Lothian obtains value for money for new systems and new elements of existing systems. This role will develop and deploy an efficient and effective third party workflow process, utilising and managing the CAFM system, which can be rolled out to the key supply chain partners.

  • Show us the real you: Your application should reflect your skills, experience, and motivations authentically.
  • Use AI wisely: It's fine to use AI for ideas or to check spelling and grammar, but don't let it write your answers.
  • Why this matters: Applications that rely on AI generated content may be withdrawn. By applying, you confirm your responses are based on your own knowledge and achievements.

Tip: Think of AI as a helper, not a substitute. We want to understand you-not an AI tool.
