Exciting opportunity to join the occupational therapy team within the Margaret Duguid Unit at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, working in complex mental health rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Work with people to motivate and inspire them to develop skills and interests that they can build and develop during their inpatient stay and into the community.
- Support occupational therapy activities and clinical support in the unit.
- Apply strong communication skills and work well as part of a team.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, hard working individual who enjoys working with people.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Post-holder must have a PVG Scheme membership/record.
- Must meet the legal requirement to work in the United Kingdom (UK Visa and Immigration Service).
- Good understanding of ensuring reasonable adjustments for disabled, long term condition, or neurodivergent candidates.
Due to legislative changes as of 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check. The role is part time, and salary will be pro rata.
