A HR Services Manager is required to join the newly formed HR Services Team. The successful candidate will lead the HR Services Team, ensuring delivery of a comprehensive HR advisory service to NHS Lothian through the HR Services help desk. The HR Services Team provides expert HR advice, guidance and support across the organisation in relation to all HR policies, procedures and terms and conditions. They are also responsible for a range of transactional HR services including honorary contracts, secondments and redeployment.
They successful candidate should have significant experience in an HR role and specialist knowledge of NHS policy and terms and conditions, plus experience of working in a demanding, user led service with the ability to persuade and influence managers, employees and professional organisational representatives. Strong interpersonal, influencing, and problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure will be essential.
