About the RoleWe're currently looking for a Graduate Wastewater Network Modeller to join our Water Utilities Division, a centre of excellence that supports colleagues across our global business. You'll be part of a team tackling some of the most pressing challenges of our time-climate change, ageing infrastructure, pollution incidents, Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) spills, and population growth-by designing resilient wastewater networks and delivering major pipeline transfers and drainage systems that protect communities and the environment.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your technical and project management skills through diverse and impactful project work. You'll be supported by senior and principal modellers and collaborate across our UK-wide modelling team, gaining exposure to national and international water frameworks.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Build and calibrate 1D and 2D hydraulic models
- Assess and influence CSO activity and operation to meet sector targets
- Evaluate foul water flooding and wastewater network resilience
- Develop mitigation solutions and present options to clients
- Work with industry-standard modelling software, GIS, and coding tools
- Produce high-quality reports and visualisations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the business
To be eligible for this opportunity, you will have less than 12 months' relevant experience (excluding placements) and have a minimum of a bachelor's degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or expected to achieve one, in one of the following degree disciplines:
- Geography
- Hydrology and Water Management
- Water and Environmental Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Mathematics

- Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently
- Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
