Job Overview

This family is looking for a sole charge nanny for their three children (ages 1, 3, and 6). The role is for Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 am-5 pm, in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Role Details

• Full-time hours: 8 am-5 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• Start date: 1 October.
• Salary: £18-£20 gross per hour (approximately £16,848-£18,720 gross per annum).
• Driver: Yes.
• Pets: No.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage children through group play, games and outdoor activities.
• Plan and facilitate arts and crafts, reading and cooking sessions.
• Prepare healthy, varied meals and manage regular nursery duties.
• Provide a safe, nurturing environment for the children.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience caring for children aged 1-6 in a similar role.
• Essential childcare qualifications.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (registered on the update service) and a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
• At least two professional references, one current or most recent employer, immediately contactable.
• Suitable driver's licence.
