We're working closely with alocal authority in Redcarwho are looking forqualified teachers and experienced tutorsto support pupils who are currently unable to access mainstream education.

This is meaningful, 1:1 work with students who need consistency, trust, and someone firmly in their corner.

About the role

You'll be delivering1:1 sessions in core subjects, mainlyMaths and English, to pupils who may have SEND, be Looked After, or have experienced barriers to school attendance.

You'll be part of an established, multi agency team around the child, working alongside professionals such as social workers and educational psychologists. Sessions typically range from1 to 5 hours per day, depending on each student's needs.

This role offersflexible hours, often involving multiple students and repeat sessions, allowing you to build meaningful relationships while shaping your workload.

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds arecognised teaching qualification
• Can build strong, positive relationships with young people
• Has experience supporting pupils withSEND or additional needs
• Is confident delivering Maths/English and other subjects on a 1:1 basis
• Cares deeply about re engaging students who've had a tough time with education
• Is comfortable working collaboratively with other professionals involved in a child's care and education
