We are seeking an enthusiastic 1:1 Tutor to provide tailored educational support to learners in the Northumberland (NE65) area. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to help students build confidence, achieve their academic goals, and reach their full potential.

The Role

As a 1:1 Tutor, you will deliver personalised lessons designed to meet the individual needs of the learner. Sessions may take place in the student's home, a community setting, or another suitable location.

You will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, learner-focused sessions
• Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
• Support academic progress and confidence-building
• Monitor and record student development
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment

What We're Looking For

• Experience teaching or tutoring children and young people
• Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and motivate learners
• Patient, adaptable, and committed approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience supporting learners with SEND, SEMH, or those out of mainstream education
• Previous 1:1 tuition experience
