1:1 Teaching Assistant - Reception - Ellesmere Port

We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated and nurturing 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school in Little Sutton from September 2026. These rewarding roles involve supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them to achieve their full potential within a caring and inclusive environment.

Hours: Full-time, term time only

Start Date: September 2026

We are looking for a patient and proactive Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child entering Reception with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The successful candidate will:

• Build positive and trusting relationships with the child.
• Support communication, social interaction and emotional regulation.
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and external professionals.
• Adapt learning activities to meet the child's individual needs.
• Promote independence and inclusion within the classroom environment.
