Job Description

We're working with a well-established and highly respected primary trust looking for a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support LSA to join their team.

This role is all about consistent, thoughtful support for children with ASD and social communication needs. You'll be working closely with pupils who receive enhanced funding, providing tailored 1:1 support that helps them feel confident, understood and ready to learn.

It's varied, it's meaningful, and no two days will look quite the same.

What you'll be doing
  • Delivering high-quality 1:1 support for pupils with SEND, particularly ASD and speech and language needs
  • Supporting social communication, emotional regulation and positive interactions
  • Leading targeted academic interventionsli>
  • Providing playground support and assistance during off-site activities
  • Adapting quickly to changing priorities in a busy primary environment

You'll be a calm, steady presence in the classroom, someone who can flex when plans shift and still keep the child's needs at the heart of everything.

  • Experience delivering 1:1 or small group interventions
  • Experience working with primary-aged children
  • Strong understanding of SEND, particularly ASD and high-level speech and language needs
