Reception Graduate Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support
Independent Primary School - Kensington and Chelsea
Start Date: September 2025
Full-Time Term-Time Only Permanent Role
Salary: £25,000-£28,000 per annum (depending on experience)

An outstanding Independent Primary School in Kensington and Chelsea is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their Reception team from September 2025.
This is a permanent position providing 1:1 support for a child in Reception, nurturing their academic, social, and emotional development in a warm and structured environment.
The Role
Work 1:1 with a Reception pupil, supporting their progress across all areas of the EYFS curriculum
Assist with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy learning
Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised support strategies
Foster engagement through play-based learning and clear routines
Track progress and communicate regularly with staff and parents
The Ideal Candidate
A recent graduate, ideally in Education, Psychology, Early Childhood Studies, or a related field
Passionate about early years education and supporting individual needs
Experience working with children in a school, nursery, or voluntary setting
Calm, patient, and proactive, with excellent communication skills
Committed to supporting the long-term growth of a child and contributing to the wider school community
