1:1 Tutor - Chester

Hours: 5-15 hours per week

Prospero Teaching are currently looking for an experienced 1:1 Tutor to support a learner in Chester.

This is a flexible opportunity for an educator who can create personalised learning sessions, build rapport with young people and help them make meaningful academic progress.

Key Duties

• Deliver individualised tuition
• Establish appropriate learning objectives
• Plan and prepare engaging sessions
• Support development across core curriculum areas
• Identify gaps and areas requiring intervention
• Adapt teaching strategies to suit the learner
• Encourage motivation and positive learning habits
• Monitor and report on progress

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience teaching or tutoring young people
• Strong knowledge of core curriculum subjects
• Experience delivering 1:1 support
• Flexible and learner-focused approach
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching experience desirable
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Right to Work in the UK
• Two professional references relating to work with children
