Private Equity Senior Associate

Our client, an international firm, is looking for a talented Senior Associate to help further build out the Private Equity team in London, and to capitalise on the exciting opportunities in play.

The Corporate team acts for private equity investors, investee companies and management teams, advising institutional investors and management teams on all areas of private equity buy-outs, exits and portfolio company M&A. In addition, the team is active for a number of industry clients with investment/ventures businesses.

The team acts regularly on private equity driven transactions. Best known for their PE work within the insurance sector, regularly acting on double digit deals each year, Lawyers have acted on a number of high-profile tech/data deals recently.

Your role will involve acting for private equity sponsors on a range of mid-market and upper mid-market deals, management advisory work and bolt on acquisitions for private equity backed portfolio companies.

The team is friendly and collaborative, with a passion for developing Associates and Senior Associates, and providing them with the tools to develop successful careers.

The team sits within the Corporate team, so you will benefit from a broader diet of work.

In addition to having between 5-7 years of PQE, you will;

• Have the ability to manage and complete a deal effectively from start to finish.
• Be committed to business development to further grow the practice, and be able to spot and drive commercial opportunities forwards.
• Be able to establish strong client relationships based on mutual trust and understanding.
• Be able to be an effective leader within the team, who coaches and develops junior team members to achieve their full potential.
