The Front-End Developer will be responsible for: Maintaining and enhancing our collaborative content creation suite that is used by 1000's of users to create and maintain their diagrams. Maintaining and enhancing our diagram library which is used in both our content creation suite and also across other areas of the platform Develop visually compelling and user-friendly web applications utilizing Typescript/JS and VueJS frameworks. Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into interactive, responsive front-end interfaces. Integrate front-end applications with server-side APIs to ensure seamless data retrieval and updates. Enhance front-end code for optimal performance and scalability, resulting in swift and seamless user interactions. Implement responsive design principles to ensure seamless experiences across diverse devices and screen sizes. Participate in rigorous code reviews to uphold high code quality, readability, and maintainability standards. Engage with back-end developers and product managers to grasp system requirements and contribute to architectural and developmental strategies. Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in front-end development. Diagnose and troubleshoot front-end issues, offering effective solutions. Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of front-end code for functional precision and cross-browser compatibility. Contribute to the continual enhancement of front-end development processes and workflows.Technology Experience required: Typescript Javascript Diagramming with Canvas and SVG - we use GoJS to underpin our diagramming library Layout algorithms Vue 2/3 - their front-end framework of choice is Vue XML - all their content is mastered in XML API access - all our front-end access is via our API SQL - there's a lot of information in their databases, so being able to find you way around is a useful skillLocation: UK hybrid with office in Guildford - We offer flexible work arrangements, including hybrid options.If you are an enthusiastic Front-end Developer with expertise in Typescript/JS, VueJS, and API integration, coupled with a keen eye for detail and a dedication to delivering exceptional user experiences, we encourage you to apply.
