Here at Long-term Teachers, we are working with a fantastic school based in the heart of Exeter. We are seeking to appoint a Special Educational Needs teacher to start in September 2024.

You will be working with young people with a variety of complex needs and abilities, ranging from speech and language difficulties to sensory impairments or physical disabilities. As well as planning and delivering high quality lessons, you must be able demonstrate the ability to adapt and respond to the needs of the young people.

Our client is looking for individuals who are passionate, enthusiastic, adaptable and hard-working. You will constantly pursue opportunities to rapidly develop and plenty of opportunities to do so will be provided. We are seeking a professional who will engage in all aspects of school life and become an integral member of the team.

You must hold qualified teacher status and ECT's are also welcome to apply. Previous experience within a special school is not essential - as long as you have a desire to make a difference to young peoples' lives and enable them to be the best they can be, this is the job for you!

This is a full time position, starting in September 2024.
