Management Accountant- Hybrid

My client are seeking a skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join their Finance team on a temporary basis. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the finance function in areas such as budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.

Description

• Prepare monthly management accounts including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
• Perform variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance and recommend actions for improvement.
• Support the Finance Manager in preparing financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Profile

• Immediately available or available on short notice.
• Part-qualified or QBE is desirable.
• Proven experience in management accounting or financial analysis, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
