Viqu have partnered with a leading industrial technology company who are seeking an experienced Wireperson to join their team, on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role within electrical control panel assembly, offering the opportunity to work on complex, highly regulated projects across energy, water, renewables, and manufacturing. You will be part of a wider assembly and test team, contributing directly to the delivery of critical projects.

Key Wireperson Responsibilities:

• Assemble and wire electrical components of varying size and complexity using drawings, parts lists, and specifications.
• Complete mechanical assembly of cubicles and framework, and bench assembly of electrical sub-assemblies.
• Ensure traceability and component identification through accurate completion of assembly record cards.
• Maintain quality standards and rework identified during inspection and test.
• Update electronic issues log and liaise with design engineers to resolve problems.
• Lead a production Bay when required, ensuring team adherence to standards.
• Flexibility to support project deadlines and process improvements.

Key Wireperson Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' industry experience in electrical control panel wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Positive, proactive, can-do attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Eligible for SC Clearance.
