Our client is a global pharmaceutical company focused on advancing next-generation hospital-based antibiotics and combating antimicrobial resistance through innovative medical strategies.
Job Description- Develop and execute medical strategy for hospital-based antibiotics in the US.
- Build, manage and mentor a team of medical professionals to achieve departmental goals through clinical research initiatives, including post-marketing and RWE studies.
- Build strong relationships with KOLs and hospital-based healthcare professionals.
- Create and deliver medical education programs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner cross-functionally with Market Access, Regulatory, and Commercial teams.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards in all medical activities.

The Successful ApplicantA successful US Head, Medical Affairs should have:
- At least 10 years of medical affairs experience, including US market oversight experience.
- Proven ability to engage with KOLs and head clinical research initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of antibiotics stewardship and antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
- Strong strategic thinking thinking with experience in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR).
- Excellent communication skills and a deep knowledge of US healthcare systems.
- An advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) with infectious disease specialization or board certification desired.
- Salary range of $250,000 to $365,000 USD.
- Performance-based bonus of 20-25%.
