Job Description
  • Develop and execute medical strategy for hospital-based antibiotics in the US.
  • Build, manage and mentor a team of medical professionals to achieve departmental goals through clinical research initiatives, including post-marketing and RWE studies.
  • Build strong relationships with KOLs and hospital-based healthcare professionals.
  • Create and deliver medical education programs for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Market Access, Regulatory, and Commercial teams.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards in all medical activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful US Head, Medical Affairs should have:

  • At least 10 years of medical affairs experience, including US market oversight experience.
  • Proven ability to engage with KOLs and head clinical research initiatives.
  • Deep knowledge of antibiotics stewardship and antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
  • Strong strategic thinking thinking with experience in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR).
  • Excellent communication skills and a deep knowledge of US healthcare systems.
  • An advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) with infectious disease specialization or board certification desired.
