Job Description

I'm currently recruiting for a Trainee Telemetry Engineer to join a leading energy business that's investing heavily in its people, its future, and the transition to cleaner energy. Please note this is a field based position so will need a full UK driving licence.

The Role

As a Trainee Telemetry Engineer, you'll be fully trained to:

  • Carry out telemetry installations and repairs
  • Complete statutory maintenance and general repairs
  • Diagnose faults and conduct site surveys
  • Occasionally support Gas Technicians with installing and maintaining bulk LPG vessels

What They're Looking For
  • Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
  • Confidence using hand tools and small power tools
  • Strong accuracy with fieldwork, reporting, and stock control (tablet/laptop use required)
  • Good communication skills when dealing with customers
  • A calm, polite, and professional approach
