Trainee Fall Protection Engineer Testing Scunthorpe

Standard hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Time and a half for any hours outside of these times (evenings, early mornings, weekends)

Flexibility is essential - some nights away from home, weekend work, and night shifts will be required

NSS Group is offering an exciting opportunity to train as a Fall Protection Engineer within our NSS Testing division - a team that inspects, services, and maintains essential height safety systems nationwide.

We're looking for someone who's comfortable up high, hands on, and ready to learn a specialist trade with fantastic long term potential.

• Service, maintain, and repair fall protection equipment such as:
• Fall arrest and life safety lines
• Eyebolts (fall restraint and abseil)
• Guardrails, gantries, walkways, and ladders
• General lifting and access equipment
• Highlight and report any further remedial works needed
• Ensure all work complies with British Standards and Health & Safety regulations
• Support other teams across the business where required

• Previous experience working at height (roofer, rope access, scaffolding, etc.)
• Good communication, attention to detail, and strong work ethic
• Full driving licence
• Smart, professional, and safety conscious
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
