Teacher of English and Media - Job Responsibilities:
Teach English and Media across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, ensuring engaging and stimulating lessons.
Develop and deliver innovative lessons that inspire students to explore literature, language, and media texts.
Use a range of teaching strategies to cater to the varying needs of students, including those with special educational needs and differing learning styles.
Provide constructive feedback and set high expectations to help students achieve their best outcomes.
Collaborate with colleagues in the English and Media department to develop the curriculum and share best practices.
Contribute to the school community through extracurricular activities related to English, Media, or the wider curriculum.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and career progression.

Teacher of English and Media - The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a teacher who:
Holds a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has strong knowledge of the English and Media curricula and is comfortable teaching at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5.
Is a passionate, engaging, and dedicated educator who can inspire students.
Demonstrates excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Is committed to continuous professional development and keen to progress in their teaching career.
Ideally has experience teaching Media at A-Level (but not essential).
