Role scope: As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be embedded within Instant Impact's partnership with a pioneering organisation delivering fusion energy and high temperature superconducting magnet technology. You'll lead end to end hiring across priority functions, strengthen the employer brand in highly technical markets, and build a scalable, data driven TA engine that meets growth goals while elevating candidate and hiring manager experience.

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you'll lead with clarity, drive results, and help our clients build world class teams.

What does it mean to be a Talent Acquisition Manager with this client?
You will be responsible for the delivery of the partnership, executing the strategy and delivering against hiring targets and SLAs, and supporting the delivery of improvement projects as required. You will continually seek improvements to the Talent Acquisition function and drive innovation to achieve world class service.
Qualifications: You will be expected to deliver a world class recruitment function with end to end ownership, data driven insights, and a focus on speed and quality.
Key Responsibilities Partnership Management- Providing a world class experience to all key stakeholders (including hiring managers and candidates) and continually expanding our sphere of influence with the client
- Working with the Partnership Director to deliver insight and foresight to stakeholders on reports and talent/market intelligence
- Making innovative suggestions to improve the client's TA function and process, supporting any relevant improvement elements
- Execution of the TA strategy - determining the approach to any new requisition to deliver a quick, effective, and engaging process
- Meeting and exceeding all partnership SLAs and objectives
- Overseeing all hiring through personally managing the necessary and agreed volumes of roles with significant tech & Centre of Excellence support
- Direct line management of Talent Acquisition Partner(s), and oversight of any team members in centres of excellence when receiving support from them
- Managing and driving standards and performance
- Developing the skills and knowledge of the team
- Actively contributing to the wider ii community, including:
- sharing best practices, ideas, and results from partnerships
- running internal coaching/training sessions
- adding to our culture and embodying the values and behaviours of ii
- You are a world class recruitment and client stakeholder manager who quickly builds trusting relationships with everyone you work with
- You have extensive experience recruiting within engineering, preferably in electrical, mechanical or nuclear
- You have experience hiring niche technical roles
- You are a people developer, capable of identifying areas of development and implementing coaching techniques focused on developing these areas
- You have a strong sense of self awareness, and you can identify your own development needs. You will have a curious 'want to know more' mindset
- You possess excellent recruitment fundamentals - you have the skill & experience to lead and manage roles from end to end, ensuring speed, quality, and a world class experience
- You have exceptional time management skills, with a brilliant planning & prioritising skillset with impeccable action follow through and process control
- You have a 'people' centric style, you care about the wellbeing of those around you
- You are an enthusiastic adopter of new technology and new ways of working
- You are comfortable analysing data and reports to deliver talent intelligence, gain insight, and use the learnings to improve and evolve
