Job Description
Job Description: Analyzes, designs and documents computer information systems to meet the needs of the College Manages systems development projects including project planning, and allocating tasks to project team members and monitoring and reviewing their work Provides systems operation support including troubleshooting, training and guidance to users and other Information System Services staff Provides system administrative support including maintaining user security, applying testing and implementing systems upgrades Programs and tests computer programs Other duties as assigned 3 year diploma/degree in Computer Programmer/Analyst or related program 8 years progressive information systems experience, with at least three years of project management, systems analysis, systems design and programming experience, including at least 1 year experience designing web-based systems in a ".NET" environment and experience with the implementation and support of ERP systems An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Development experience in Ellucian platform preferred Strong analysis and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and system design Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Ability to plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks effectivelyFanshawe College provides accommodations to job applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
