The Role

The successful candidate will become a key member of a busy, progressive practice, delivering preventive services and caring for sick and injured pets while promoting overall pet wellbeing. This position requires a confident veterinary professional-ideally with a minimum of two years' GP experience-who can lead by example and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills are essential, along with empathy, kindness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The role includes:

  • A standard full-time pattern of 4 days per week and 1 in 4 weekends
  • A 30-minute lunch break and 1 hour of dedicated admin time per shift
  • Flexible part-time or alternative full-time schedules by agreement
About the Practice

This purpose-built, light, and spacious facility is equipped with the latest technology, including CT scanning, Dental X-Ray, Ultrasound, X-Ray, an in-house laboratory, and a dedicated dental suite. With three theatres and seven consult rooms-including a dedicated euthanasia room-the environment is designed to support exceptional clinical care while ensuring patients remain calm and clients feel assured. The team comprises five experienced vets, including a Head Vet and a clinician with a certificate in internal medicine, all committed to a supportive, collaborative workplace where colleagues enjoy coming to work. The ideal new vet will bring passion, knowledge, and a genuine dedication to animal care, along with a team-oriented approach and a proactive attitude to daily tasks and responsibilities.
