Site Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a Site Manager to join our team at Meadow Primary School, part of Bourne Education Trust.

As a Site Manager you will manage the school's property and assets, ensuring clear communication on all premises and site-related matters. You will lead premises staff and contractors, maintain a safe environment, and manage building, machinery, and equipment within budget.

Meadow Primary School is a three form entry primary school with a nursery in Surrey, part of the Bourne Education Trust (BET), a multi academy trust across Surrey, Hampshire, and Richmond upon Thames. Our vision is to transform schools and change lives. We aim for our children to leave Meadow Primary School as confident, resourceful, and respectful individuals ready for secondary school and beyond.

Curriculum and Environment

Our curriculum is centred on active learning, engaging all children through Discovery Days and diverse learning sequences. PE and the arts are key elements; the school's extensive grounds and swimming pool are used 50 % of the year.

Position Details

Position: Site Manager
Hours: 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Start date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a programme of site testing and inspections to ensure statutory compliance
• Identify issues quickly by carrying out regular inspections of all indoor and outdoor areas, providing written reports/action plans as required
• Ensure site team are contactable whilst on duty

Requirements

• Demonstrated commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
• Full driving licence
• Proven track record of continuous professional development
• Experience working within an educational setting
