Shop Manager

Overview

Shop Manager - you set the tone for the shop, creating a fun environment while driving yourself and your team to achieve shop targets. You provide full operational support, direction and guidance to your shop, ensuring every Paddy Power customer has a memorable experience and that service is tailored to individual needs. You will promote online products and services within the shops while delivering an epic customer journey.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front by providing clear guidance and feedback to get the team to a high standard; stay focused on results and set goals for your team to improve shop performance and reach targets.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with customers by delivering excellent service face to face and over the phone; cross-sell retail and online products and services.
• Educate and guide the team to deliver high-quality customer service while adhering to Social Responsibility commitments and all shop operational procedures, including cash management.
• Know the business by engaging with the local community and competitors to gain local market insights.
• Communicate clearly to encourage idea-sharing on how things can be done better, quicker and easier.
• Lead by example to maintain shop presentation standards.

Qualifications / Experience

• Experience in leading a retail team and driving customer-focused results.
• Ability to embrace technology, new betting services and ways of working to promote online products while delivering an exceptional customer journey.
• Demonstrated adaptability to different situations and a curiosity to continually develop.
• Strong communication and coaching skills to guide a team to high performance.
