A major central government department is seeking a Project Delivery Manager, SEO-level to join them on an initial 6-month contract inside IR35.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and coordination of policy-related projects by maintaining delivery schedules, updating action logs, and tracking progress against agreed milestones.
• Assist with gathering evidence, conducting basic analysis, and preparing materials for policy development, consultations, and governance meetings.
• Help translate policy objectives into manageable tasks and work packages, ensuring teams are clear on what needs to be delivered and when.
• Identify emerging risks or delivery issues and flag them promptly to senior colleagues, contributing to mitigation planning and status reporting.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting workshops, meetings, and communications that enable smooth project delivery.
