Senior Research Fellow / Study Manager

Senior Research Fellow with strong project management and quantitative research skills to play a key role in the set up, coordination, and management of our new NIHR funded "Healthy Homes" project, based within the Population Health Improvement (PHI UK) Healthy Urban Places consortium.

Our new BiB Healthy Homes project will evaluate the impact of retrofitting social housing in Bradford on indoor conditions and air quality, resident health, and economic outcomes. The research will monitor the indoor environments of over 400 social homes in Bradford for 18 months, using routine health and housing data from the Connected Bradford dataset, building modelling, health economic analyses, and qualitative and participatory research activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of the evaluation of retrofitting social housing in Bradford, including indoor environmental monitoring and data collection.
• Analyse routine health and housing data from the Connected Bradford dataset, conduct building model simulations, and perform health economic analyses.
• Engage in qualitative and participatory research to explore trade offs, contextual factors, and resident experience.
• Collaborate closely with the social housing provider, university partners, and project co Principal Investigators to ensure successful delivery of the research programme.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong project management skills and experience organising complex research projects.
• Proven quantitative research and data analytics experience.
• Experience in environmental health, energy efficiency, or related fields is desirable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.
