Senior Regional Transportation Analyst, Orthopedics

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Regional Transportation Analyst located in Cork, Ireland. The role supports the Global Transportation & Trade Operations EMEA and operates across the MedTech and Innovative Medicines sectors. This position provides guidance, coordination, and operational oversight of Regional Inbound Transportation within the MedTech segment to ensure a reliable and cost efficient supply of local affiliates DCs from manufacturing sites and regional hubs.
Key Responsibilities- Drive value for MedTech EMEA by optimizing regional transportation flows for inbound freight, including flows from manufacturing sites to hubs, from hubs to affiliates and distributor DCs, inter affiliate stock moves, and raw material and packaging flows.
- Manage relationships with 3PL/4PL (Control Tower) through metrics, strategic guidance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead performance measurement of transport reliability using critical metrics aligned with MedTech Plan and EDC operations teams.
- Provide input for MedTech executive performance reviews and deliver on CIP targets through operational improvements while ensuring service, quality, reliability and compliance.
- Conduct regular reviews with MedTech Segment leads, Finance and other partners.
- Represent IBF Transportation in end to end MedTech Supply Chain forums and projects, drive process alignments and trade offs, and establish inbound freight input into S&OP processes.
- Partner with MedTech SC to translate inventory strategy and business requirements into innovative transportation solutions, support transportation setup for manufacturing network changes and new product launches.
- Proactively surface and resolve key issues and demonstrate continuous improvement in lanes, resource management, and leveraged value.
- Deliver: Align with Regional Segment Deliver Lead on segment priorities.
- Make: Actively collaborate with Make to optimize product flows.
- Plan: Engage with Demand & Supply Planning for transport capacity planning, reliability and SLAs.
- OS&S: Assess operational maturity and define continuous improvement priorities.
- Compliance: Jointly create competitive advantage through quality and compliance.
- Reg. Distribution: Optimize product flows with Distribution operations.
- Transportation cost and CIP's.
- Transportation reliability.
- Make/Hub to DC Control Tower performance critical metrics.
- Bachelor or university degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business.
- Minimum 5 years in end to end supply chain related fields.
- Good understanding of the order to cash process.
- Excellent analytical skills and affinity to numbers for budgeting, financial reconciliation and identification of continuous improvement opportunities.
- Subject matter expertise across core transportation, planning and carrier / 3PL 4PL management, import/export processes and systems.
- Fluent in English; additional European language skills a plus.
- Adherence to E2E mentality, collaborative, customer focused approach.
- Ability to partner, influence and drive continuous improvement without direct authority.
- Innovative mentality, problem solving, compliance orientation, GDP knowledge, quality approach and trade off alignment.
- Lean certification is a plus.
- Strong communication, presentation, project management and change management skills.
- Understanding of AI concepts and responsible, ethical AI practices, and experience generating effective prompts.
