Senior Performance Analyst - Fixed Income (London)

Insight Investment is looking for a Senior Performance Analyst to join the Performance team in London. In this role, you will act as a senior technical expert in the production, analysis and communication of Fixed Income performance attribution numbers.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver clear and insightful explanations of performance figures to fund managers, with a particular emphasis on fixed income attribution
• Investigate and resolve queries thoroughly and within agreed timeframes, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction
• Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and outsourced service providers
• Maintain consistent engagement with fixed income fund managers, building trust and credibility
• Lead regular meetings with portfolio managers to gather requirements and support the implementation of tailored solutions
• Conduct proactive analysis and monitoring of performance data to identify anomalies, drive enhancements, and uncover efficiency opportunities

Experience Required

• Detailed knowledge of performance and risk calculations across Fixed Income and Derivative asset classes
• Detailed knowledge of Fixed Income Attribution and the various models used

• Detailed understanding of underlying analytics used to drive attribution results

• In depth knowledge of calculations determining attribution effects, including parallel / non-parallel shifts of yield curves, spread changes, allocation and selection effects, across all asset types including derivatives
• Demonstrable examples of adapting and customising attribution to reflect portfolio management decisions and investment approaches
• Understanding of a wide range of instrument types would be advantageous, including derivatives
• Understanding of trade life cycle and investment management process
• Be able to demonstrate skills in the understanding and debugging of processes and methodologies
• Advanced excel spreadsheet skills required
• Familiarity and experience using market leading Fixed Income performance and attribution systems
