Senior People Services Administrator - Inside IR35 - Hybrid (Mostly Remote) - Glasgow

Harvey Nash's Public Sector Client are hiring a Senior People Services Administrator to provide expert, comprehensive and professional Workforce related advice.
Responsibilities
- The role will support policy implementation by providing advice and internal consultancy service relating to the full range of Workforce Policies (attendance management, conduct, grievance, capability, bullying and harassment, redeployment), employment legislation and terms and conditions of service to managers and staff.
- Using a computerised enquiries management system, the post holder will assess the requirements of the level 2 enquiries and undertake the necessary action and advice required to a satisfactory conclude the enquiry within a reasonable timeframe.
- The post holder will also, using a computerised case management system manage a wide and varied range of cases and will participate in formal investigations and hearings to provide professional guidance and advice.
- The post holder will also lead and develop HR related projects with organisation wide implications as agreed with the People Services Business Partner.
Skills & Experience Required
- Specialist HR Knowledge: In-depth expertise in employee relations and case management.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to influence and mediate with individuals at all levels.
- Project & People Management: Strong project management abilities and experience leading HR-related projects.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex HR issues, interpret data, and make sound decisions.
- Autonomy & Initiative: Capable of working independently, prioritising and re-prioritising workload, and making proactive decisions.
- Attention to Detail: High standard of accuracy in carrying out processes and procedures.
- Adaptability: Organised, flexible, and able to manage changing workloads and priorities under pressure.
- Relationship Building: Skilled at building and maintaining positive working relationships internally and externally.
- Problem Solving: Lateral thinking to resolve challenges and seek improvements.
- Digital Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and HR systems (e:ESS, SSTS, TURAS, Jobtrain).
- Confidentiality & Data Protection: Awareness of data protection legislation and confidentiality protocols
