Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, configuring, and supporting our Group infrastructure. You'll be instrumental in ensuring our systems are secure, reliable, and scalable-supporting both day-to-day operations and exciting new projects as we continue to grow and diversify.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and implementing robust infrastructure solutions that meet business needs and regulatory standards.
• Providing hands on technical support across BAU and project environments.
• Monitoring and maintaining infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Leading and mentoring junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering growth.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver infrastructure change projects on time and within budget.
• Supporting critical business initiatives with technical guidance and governance alignment.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in infrastructure support and project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025
  • VMware (5.5 to 7.x)
  • Active Directory & Group Policy
  • Office 365 & Exchange 2016/2019
  • Citrix XenApp 6.5 & 7.6
  • Intune
  • Firewalls (Checkpoint, SonicWall, Meraki MX)
  • Networking (LAN/WAN - Cisco & Meraki)
  • Azure Infrastructure deployment & management
  • PowerShell scripting
• Excellent understanding of IT security principles and their practical application.

Qualifications (Preferred but not essential)

• ITIL 4 Foundation
• Microsoft, Cisco, or VMware certifications
