Geddington CofE Primary School is on the lookout for sharp minds, big hearts, and fresh perspectives to help shape the future of education. You don't need to be a teacher - just someone who's ready to ask the right questions, support the right decisions, and champion the right changes.

No experience? No problem. You'll get full training and support - all you need is a commitment to helping young people thrive.

What do governors actually do?

• Help set the school's vision and strategy
• Support and challenge the headteacher
• Make decisions on budgets, performance, and policies
• Be a critical friend, not a clipboard-wielding inspector

Time commitment? We have 8 meetings per year, plus a bit of reading, a few school visits during the daytime and enthusiasm in between.
